Today is Phil's 22nd Birthday! Talk about a Happy Birthday... we got him WebTV, and he got online, and shot his Mom (Cheri) a message in the guestbook! See!!!! Drop him a line to welcome him back to the real world, and to catch up on what it is that a 22 year old does these days!
The Carnival and Haunted House were awesome! Talk about a GREAT Haunted House! We have some very creative people here, and I was so thankfull that they stepped up and did something! The carnival was a good time too! We had a lot of toys for prizes and all of the kids had a great time playing all of the games in search of the one they wanted. Work has been alright this last week, and this weekend was fun with the girls. We went to a friends house of the whole family's while Cheri went to a Christmas Bazaar in Rota... then when she got back to the base the girls and I went home, picked her up and went right back to their house! Had a blast! Just did nothing and loved it!
Cheri is doing good! She is getting into the Holiday Spirit! Had me rearranging the living room today, so that she would be able to see where the big tree would go! Yes, the big tree... yes there is more than one. Yes... many more than one! One big one, one skinny one, 3 "block" one's, 4 2 footers, and about 7 1 footers to go around the house! Shoot Phil an e-mail to confirm this! Yes buddy, the 3 "block" one's are new... she couldn't resist them! She likes to sneak out decorations early, and there are already 3 snowmen around in different spots. Cheri just smiles and laughs and LEAVES THEM THERE. She loves this time of year... I just wish she could hold off until after Thanksgiving!
The girls are doing awesome! Caroline is no longer running for Student Council Secretary, she IS Student Council Secretary!!! She is so excited, and nervous about doing a good job! We told her to keep her head on, and just do what she does best! Keep everything straight! The girls had a blast on Halloween, and did they ever make out! All of the kids just went around the block until all of the candy was gone! Didn't take long, but they did have a good time! At the carnival they won all they wanted to! The Haunted House was a blast! I stood there and watched as the first group of people came screaming out and Chelsea just said "I am going to the carnival" and left! She did NOT like that! Caroline put up a brave front, but the group she went in with had one Mom, and she had three screaming, crying girls in tow, and one of them was our brave Caroline! She laughs about it now, but she was scared!
We are all doing great, just plugging along like the good little Military Family that we are! Not much to remark on, just trying to keep the faith and have a good time while we are here!
