This week was a wild one... didn't even work my job the entire week... worked normal shift on Mon and Tue, then on Wed, Thurs and Fri, I searched trucks entering the base. Talk about baking in a parking lot for three days, I now know what an egg feels like in the pan! Had a good weekend... did NOTHING on Saturday... Sunday had a flag football game, then a fireworks show at the fishing port, and today there was a "festival" at the base beach! The girls had a great time, and it was great weather the entire time! Talk about rare in this part of the world!
Cheri is doing great! She has adjusted to the idea of moving, and me being in Texas for the next two weeks great! She has her plan, and is just waiting for me to get out of the way! We think we have the 2nd car sold, and we are waiting word from a buddy of ours on wether or not we will trade his car for our van. Their car is in better shape to take to the other side of the world, and they are wanting a van. She is getting her "ducks in a row" and is about to set sail!
Phil is doing good. He gave Cheri a call, and they talked for 2 hours!!! He is waiting for Jerry, and says that Jerry got a job right outside of Tucson, and the he (Phil) might apprentice under Glenn for construction! He says that Jerry's job is a good one, and that he will be happy to let Jerry be the bread winner! The address is 2730 S. Pace West Tucson AZ, 85730 If anyone wants to give him a call, the number is 520-885-1679
The girls are loving school! Cheri is happy about that! They have great teachers, and the curriculum is both challenging and rewarding! They are eager to get up, and excited to come home and get the homework done, then they can play! They still are not happy about leaving in the middle of the school year, but they are warming up to the idea of going to Spain! They are excited about being in Texas for the Hollidays!
