Welcome to our life in Southern Spain. Moron Air Base Spain is the location of this assignment. It is in the southern end of Spain. We are about a 40 minute drive South East of Sevilla. The "Barber of Sevilla" ... yep, that is the place. Something interesting... Spain celebrates Columbus day too! I just found that weird... kinda like the UK doing Thanksgiving. Oh well.
I tell you one thing. Europe is small, and this is the place to be in the summer! It seems like all of Europe comes down here to play! That is a good thing, if you are looking for that, and if you are not... there is PLENTY to do! Lots of sight seeing to be done! Beaches, caves.... anything! For the really travel savy... Spain is 2/3 the size of Texas... Paris is a 14 hour drive, and from there, the rest of Europe is no more than a 7 hour drive... mostly 3 and 4 hours... it is pretty neat!
You can go to the Medeteranian, or the Atlantic oceans. All within about an hour and a half drive... Malaga is just one of the towns on the Med... it is awesome there! Sevilla is where we are (more or less).
