Personal Airplay

The ten records I've heard most this month...
Pos SINGLE act heard
1 GOODBYE Spice Girls 33
2 TRAGEDY / HEARTBEAT Steps 29
3 END OF THE LINE Honeyz 27
4 SWEETEST THING U2 20
5 I DON'T WANT TO MISS A THING Aerosmith 19

The biggest hit last month remains there in the new year, ahead of a double-A hit from Steps (Individually, the leader was "Tragedy" with 16 plays.) Aerosmith - in their fifth month on the list - fall three places, and are overtaken by U2 (up 3) and the Honeyz (new). In spite of being out since October, this is Cher's first entry into the airplay 10. 3 Colours Red head this year's releases, while Spears picked up 8 plays in the last week to enter the 10.
