The We Want Wrigley Field Wallpaper Campaign

Better than the alternatives

In the beginning, there was Liz Wrigley Field (and, yes, that is her real name). She moved from LA to New York, joined the MSCList, posted a lot, made many friends, sent her picture to Derrick's picture site, and thought nothing more of it.

Many, many moons later, a mad European scientist thought that it would be a jolly wheeze to spread Liz's picture around the world, as wallpaper on computer desktops. In a vain attempt to drum up support for this pointless yet somehow touching campaign, he called it the "We Want Wrigley Field Wallpaper".

So, without any further ado, download your own copy of the picture and set it as your desktop wallpaper. If you're using Netscrape, Internet Deplorer or Opera on a PC, right click the image at the foot of this page and choose "Set as background". Anyone using a Mac or another browser please let me know how to set this image as your wallpaper.

If you want to add your name to this list of Wrigley Field Wallpaperers, just drop me a line, or send a mail to the MSCList.

These are the people who have already joined the club:
