12/00--I'm starting to act grown-up. I want to have friends of my own and tell people they are my "best friend".
10/23/00--I've been taking gymnastics for over a month now! I really like and feel like I'm a big girl now! I talk non-stop and you can actually understand mostly (if your mommy!) My favorite thing to ask for is cookies.
8/12/00--I have all my 2 year molars now! I talk alot and I sleep in my own room in our new house! Sissy wanted to have her own room too.
6/25/00--I'm potty trained now! I think it is pretty cool and I like to wear my new "la-la" panties.
4/20/00-- talk non-stop now, although people seem to have trouble understanding me!! I'm an accomplished pro at getting into trouble and making messes!! I also got my first two year molar last month!
1/11/00--I'm 2 now, yea!! I had a great christmas and got cool new stuff! I had fun playing with all my family as we went to CA for the holidays!! For my birthday, I had a Teletubbies cake and decorations that I picked out all by myself!! My favorite toys were new pooh bear hundred acre woods play stuff. Here is the 2 year old pictures Mommy had taken of me at Sears today!! Brittany at 2 years old.
12/1/99--I do great summersaults, even with no hands! I can jump with both feet several times in a row jumping as much as a foot ahead with each jump! I talk lots and have finally started to say sentances! One of my new ones is "love you". I can go potty in the toilet, but can't decide if I'm ready to make that a permanent choice yet!!
10/16/99--I got a bunk bed today for me and Salina to sleep in! I can sleep in there now!!
8/27/99--I try to say everything now. I talk (in my own way) nonstop and mommy even understands alot of it! I can sort of do a summersault with sissy. I learned how to open the pantry door and I'm always getting food out of it now! I can climb into Salina's booster seat and like to sit there for snacks. I also like to sit in bed first thing in the morning and look at books for awhile.
7/28/99--I do the cutest new thing! I discovered owies! Now whenever I get even the littlest one I show it to mom and dad and say "ow" and wait for a kiss for it!!
7/12/99--I got my other two eye teeth in now! Hopefully that will be it for awhile! I've started talking finally! I'm saying new words every day. Just a few are: cracker, barney, la-la (for the teletubbie), grandma, doggie, pa-pa, barbie, out, and off.
5/27/99--I now have two of my eye teeth in, one on top and one on the bottom. I climb on everything! If someone leaves a kitchen chair pulled out more than one inch, they'll turn around and I'll be standing on the kitchen table dancing!! I also found out that if I want the toy Salina has, and I yell really loud, she'll usually give it to me, or get me one just like it!! :-)
4/28/99--I got my 4th molar in. It's alot easier to chew now!! The other day I said "cracker". I always ask to watch "bye-bye's". I can now go up and down the stairs with ease and mommy and daddy took the gate down! I also sleep in my own crib all the time now and usually only wake up maybe once or not at all!
4/5/99--I now have 3 molars! I'm trying to talk alot and say "bath", "nina", and "thank you". I sleep in my own bed all the time now. I like to watch teletubbies on PBS sometimes. Sometimes I try to be like sissy at gymnastics and do somersaults and I'm always trying to jump! My mommy got me a new slide a few days ago and I climb up and slide down all the time!
1/9/99--I learned how to clap my hands today and say yea!
1/7/99--I'm ONE YEAR OLD!! Opening presents was fun. Chocolate cake was yummy! Pictures coming soon!
1/2/99--Christmas was great! I love all my new toys! My family came and visited and I had fun with grama shari, papa, and aunts and uncles! I'm working on running now. Almost my birthday.
12/21/98--Boy am I growing fast! I walk really good now and prefer it to crawling. I babble and try to say lots of things. I like to shake my head no when people ask me things too! I have 8 teeth now! I can't wait till Christmas and have been trying to unwrap what's under the tree and taking the ornaments down! Also, sissy keeps telling me grandma shari will be here after christmas, so that will be fun!
11/27/98--I'm trying to say lots of new things! Duck, dolly, nina (for sissy), and ger (for the cat). I still can just take the one step alone, but i can stand up all by myself with out holding on and stand there as long as I want! I have 5 teeth now, but soon will have six. I really enjoyed thanksgiving, and the stuffing was my favorite!
11/7/98--I took my first step today!!!
10/23/98--I'm working on saying new words. I babble mama, dada, baba alot! I can stand alone steadily for quite awhile. I crawl quickly upstairs. I'm very interested in eating "big person" food and not so interested in baby food!
10/9/98--I got my fourth tooth. Top left!
9/26/98--I got my third tooth finally! top right!
9/20/98--I'm now pulling up onto everything! I'm walking holding onto everything and I can stand alone for a few seconds at a time. I love crawling around following people around the house. I say hi and I just started saying "da-da"!! I'm continueing to try lots of different new foods and it sure is fun!
8/26/98--I can now pull to a stand all by myself and go from a crawl into a sit with ease!!
8/15/98--I just got back from spending two months in CA with my mom and big sister visiting our family. Boy have I grown alot!! I sit up just great now! I'm getting good at crawling and figuring out how to get places. I can stand up holding on to people and will walk forward holding onto people's hands. My favorite thing to do is to play with mom and dad and big sister. I also have a little soft dolly that I love very much and I like to sleep with it all the time.
7/7/98--I got my first teeth in today! The two bottom ones at the same time!
6/7/98--I can sit by myself while resting on my hands now!! I still sleep very well at night and have started to roll over as soon as I get in my crib so I can sleep on my tummy! I like that!
5/27/98--I can now roll over both ways!! I laugh hysterically when my big sister jumps up and down. I found my toes and I can even put them in my mouth! I can move in a circle on the floor by wiggling and on my tummy I try to push with my toes.
I'm really good at playing with my toys now and putting them in my mouth. I also sometimes like to watch tv!
