Instructions Page

In order to successfully navigate these pages, you'll need to know just a few things. The first is using your mouse to move about the pages. As you move the mouse, you'll see that the arrow cursor moves about the page. To view images that do not appear to be totally visible, take the mouse and find the arrow at the extreme right-hand side of the browser window. These arrows, at the top and bottom of the browser window will move the page, with its images, up and down and left and right horizontally. The arrows, when they are present due to the width of the page, at the extreme bottom of the browser window will move the page you are viewing side to side. These are likely to be the most used features you will utilize since the pages are not designed to fit the browser window. Ordinarily, I would have done so but in order to get a maximum number of photos on the page, I ignored the usual design etiquette.

Another useful feature is what they call a 'hyper-link.' Actually, if you reading these words you have already used the feature. You may use the 'hyper-link' feature to send me electronic mail as well. I have provided my E-Mail address at the bottom of each page. Just click on it if you want to write me something. You'll know when you have touched upon something containing a hyper-link if your mouse cursor changes into a small hand. Cool, huh? I've also added a hyper-link navigation feature across the top of each page. You'll find this convenient for acessing any page you want to view without necessarily having to view them in numerical order.

The hyper-link feature is also utilized to move from page to page, much like turning the pages of an electronic book. At the bottom of each page is an image of a B17. If you'll notice, they are pointed in opposite directions. One to the right and one to the left. To move to the next page, click the image labeled 'NEXT.' To move back one page, click the image labeled 'BACK.' At any time if want to return to the first page, what is called in World Wide Web parlance 'the home page' just click on the image (icon) in the middle that looks like an animated house.

All of the photos have captions as well. The captions don't contain anything very important, just the page and photo numbers. If you would like to write me about any of the photos, please include the page and photo numbers.

If you likewise find any of these instructions unclear, please send me an E-Mail detailing how I might update the instructions or the photo pages to make the next man's visit more enjoyable.

I would also like to explain that the images TAKE TIME to download to your viewing site. Please be patient as there is no way to work around this. Each page's photos may take several minutes to appear depending on the speed of your Internet connection.

For those of you with a little extra time, I've provided a hyper-link to the 390th air museum in this paragraph. The 390th Air Museum Web Site
