Occupation: nurse.
She met John McLaughlin in Boston while working as a nurse. She later became a nursing supervisor at Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge
Married: John S. McLaughlin April 19, 1937 in Lewiston, Maine.
Margaret died February 24, 1982 of ovarian cancer.

Margaret and John had 8 grandchildren at the time of her death in 1982 (actually one was on the way).
Mary Fraser Elliott came from a large family.
The Fraser's were originally from Scotland but had settled in Nova Scotia.
They came to Maine around 1880. Eight Fraser children survived infancy.
Her sister Margaret (nicknamed Gigan)ended up living in Watertown with her niece Margaret McLaughlin . Gigan (Margaret) saved family items such as her parents marriage certificates and a family church record.
