Tried several yers ago to trace family with no success. While surfing,I discovered your site and noticed one of the names Misner. My father was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, moved to PEI as a boy with his parents but there were several uncles and we could not trace them. Rumor had some of had moved to USA. I was doing search engine research when I found your site--you have an e cellent Internet presence--you show up well on the search engines (Dogpile/Alta Vista). Do you know Dad & Mom? Several years ago one of the "Carlisle" Steinours arranged with Dad to bring their relatives to the Steinour reunion. Are you from the Carlisle area? Evidently, you live very close to us--I grew up in Chambersburg, and Dad & Mom now live in St. Thomas. Dad is a playwright and wrote "Phoenix, The Burning of Chambersburg." I live in Texas. Several years ago, when Arendtsville celebrated a bicentennial(?, I picked up a commerorative book and discovered the name Frederich Steinhauer(?). Judy, I was hoping that your lineage may have included my Jacob Wohlgamuth from PA to OH in 1815 with his entire family, but it didn't.
