If anyone has anything they would like to post here, please just send me an email, I'll see that it gets on. I don't care what it is; feelings, editorial, whatever - it will not be censored. Just send it it me lsgyger@mindspring.com, lsgyger@hotmail.com or lgyger@ci.cumberland.md.us From Dave Campbell - Sec 4 NYPD Received 9/12/01
Thanks
for the note. It means a lot. We have all been involved in this act
of war. That is no lie. The incident scene was a war zone yesterday.
I have never seen destruction and waste of life on such a large scale.
Tony Bologna's people were among the first responders and sustained heavy
casualties. Timmy Hardiman responded with his Task Force people and
assisted in crowd control and rescue efforts. My people have been involved
in rescue efforts, intelligence, and security. I know that Jimmy Dean and
Tom Russo have been busy at the scene also. The military has declared the
city a no-fly zone and have sent the USS Washington and Kennedy with their air
wings to enforce it. From Cathy Lanier - Sec 3 DC Metro PD Received 9/12/01
The
support from our NA friends has been overwhelming. God bless you all!
This is an email I received from Lobo on
Sept. 14. For those that didn't know, he is ( I guess he's still
there) in Regina, Canada.
Hey there Lobo 9/15/01 I would just like to thank everyone for their thoughts, kind words, and prayers. Things have been extremely difficult and trying, but the clean up is underway. The entire New York Crew from the 194th are exhausted but well. The only word to describe ground zero is surreal. I still can't believe the destruction and loss of life. We never thought this could happen. The words of encouragement and offers for help have sustained us all. We have more volunteers than we can use. God bless and keep you all.

Hello 194th fellows.

happened to NYC-DC last Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
All the 198th's New Yorkers and DC guys are
fine and healthy working very hard there.
The only I didn't realize till now is that : I
have there in NYC my very good friend Tony Bologna. As I can
understand from Dave Campbell's email Tony's team had heavy casualties. But
I'm not so sure what's happened about Tony? Is he fine?
Please if you have any info drop me a line to know
about my good friend.
Thank you in advance.

Received on 9/18/01 Hello 194th team.
It is so nice to hear from you Dave and
Cathy. All of you have been in my prayers. I'm thankful that all
of the 194th New Yorkers and DCers are safe. Today I looked at pictures of Dave
and Tony, from photo class, and prayed. These messages have
answered my prayers. Please tell Tim, Jim & Tom how grateful we
are and how proud we ALL feel about you and the job you are doing.
I think if the entire 194th could be there, we would.
God Bless our fallen brothers and sisters.
Stay safe.

I was very lucky to escape injury and death last week. I will
write again as soon as things get back to normal. Greetings to all 194th fellows from Thessaloniki, Greece. God bless you
all. Take care. Pol. Lieutenant Thessaloniki - GREECE FBINA 198th Web Page: http://members.tripod.com/~ioanna/lois.htm Received on 9/19/01
Dear Larry. So nice to realize that LE are a big-big family and wherever we are in the world we are happy or sad, we smile or cry with the same things. I'm so far away from you but I was so
sad like I live there, I worry so much for my NYPD fellows same like the
Greek's. As well as the web page you have about the NYC-DC tragedy, of course I show it. We also have a similar one for the 198th mates. God bless you all there. Keep up the good job. Hello All. I'm relieved to hear that the New York contingents from the 194th and 198th are okay. Does anyone know about other NA grads? All of my former students, indeed, all of the police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, and innocent souls in the WTC and Pentagon fill my thoughts and prayers. If any of you need anything at all, please let us know. Your friends at the FBI Academy want to help. In peace, Julie Linkins Instructor jrlinkins@aol.com Received 10/2/01 So glad to hear our New York contingent (and D.C. folks) are alive and well. I spoke with "New Jersey" Tony Buccelli the weekend after the attacks. He said the view from across the river is spooky. He also said the only time he had been to the top of the WTC was with me and Steve Brown on our fabulous whirlwind tour of the big apple Labor Day weekend before graduation. Saw Jim Weuve, Craig Jacobs, and Jonathan Williams in San Diego last weekend for the California Chapter Conference. All are doing well.God bless you all God Bless America!
Steve Peeler (Huntington Park PD, California) Received 10/12/01 It's good to hear that all our comrades are safe, but I just realized that Sept 11 is the anniversary of the 194th Graduation. Regards, Steve Bullock Security Engineer Received from Igor Matiasovski on 10/21/01 (Some personal parts edited) I'm very sorry for repeating so late. After the events of September 11 we had been so busy that I simply did not have any time to reply. Nevertheless I highly appreciate you kept me in touch. So did other friends, brothers and sisters from NA. The things here in Europe have been pretty tough since that sad event but since October 7, 2001 after launching US air and Allied air strikes on Afghan it has been even worse. We still waiting for something we think will inevitably come but no one is able to define what it will be. Stay safe, Igor Received 10/23/01
Sorry I haven't written sooner.
I guess you know we've been busy. I just want everyone to know
about the offers of support we've received from our classmates. I
was a few blocks North of what has now been named "Ground
Zero" when my roommate Duane called my cell phone and asked where I
wanted his people to report. Duane is now the Chief of Plumstead
Township P.D. I received phone calls and emails from Jim Walsh,
Fred Hayes, Tami Evans and Craig Jacobs and numerous other classmates
all offering their support.
Thanks to everyone for their thoughts
and prayers. I fear this war will spread beyond NY and D.C. very
soon.
God Bless America.
Tim Hardiman
