COURSE FACTS

The Great TrailsCouncil, BSA, Dalton, Massachusetts is proud to announce it will hold a weekend Boy Scout Leader Wood Badge Course for our council leaders in the Fall of 1998.
WHEN: Course Dates
WHERE: Chesterfield Scout Reservation, Chesterfield Massachusetts
COST: $180.00 ($160.00 if paid in full by July 15) 
A $40.00 deposit is required with your Acceptance of Invitation. The balance of $140.00 is required before August 22, 1998
WHO CAN ATTEND: Each Scouter invited to participate in Wood Badge Training must: 
A.) Be a registered member of the BSA 
B.) Have completed Boy Scout Leader Fast Start and Scoutmastership Fundamentals Training or Pathfinder 
C.) Have a working knowledge of the Boy Scout program 
HOW TO ENROLL: Contact your local District Training Chairman or Wood Badge Coordinator and let them know of your interest. If you are qualified, you will receive an "Invitation to Wood Badge"
PHYSICAL: This course will take place in an outdoor environment and you will sleep under canvas and take part in an active program. The training includes an overnight hike. Scouters whose medical condition is such that they might overtax themselves should consider this. A Medical Form is required to be completed by a medical doctor within 12 months prior to October 18, 1998.
