Ky's Circle of Friends

These are just some of the special people in my life. Don't know where I would be now if I'ld never met them. They are in no particular order. Most of them I've known for years. How many years? I'm not telling.

Donna T- (When are you going to get online girl? Thanks for always being there! Thanks for being someone who knows all about me but loves me anyway! We've been through a lot together. Thanks for sticking by me! Most of all thanks for all your prayers! (BIG HUG) Mo fior caraid!) Donna likes Contemporary Christian music and makes a trip to the Cornerstone Festival almost every year. One of her favorite bands is Guardian. (Donna is pictured with Tony from Guardian.) Donna also does swing dancing (Lindy Hop & Jitterbug) with me @ SSQQ. She is also taking Western and Ballroom classes. You go girl!

Sidney - (First of all none of this would have been possible without you. Thanks for all your help! Thanks for letting me hog 'Herman'. (BIG HUG) We've been through a lot together, and we have some awesome memories! Thanks for all the laughs! I'm glad you've moved so close and we've seen alot more of each other than we have in years! I hope fate does not take you away again!) Sidney is a big Peanuts fan! Especially Snoopy! This midi's for you Sid! Sidney loves to hang out in the Park Lounge.

Julie - (Julie's the one on the left in the pic. Blame her state of mind on me.. I took her to the TX Renn Fest and she's never been the same since.)(Hey Woman! Carpe D.M.!! No wait that's my line, I should say Carpe Zen!!) Julie was my first online friend. We met on AOL, found out we lived near each other and have been corrupting each other ever since. This is the woman who got me to start watching Highlander.
We attend the same church, White Oak Baptist. Julie's favorite actor is Zen Gesner.(Thanks for being someone I can be silly with, and still loves me anyway.) (BIG HUG) And to Julie's husband Greg - Thanks for putting up with us. You're a great guy!

Kathy - Remember our Lu High days??!! *Laffin* That 10 year reunion's coming up. Yikes! *Laffin* (BIG HUG)

Rita - and your wonderful family! I love you guys! Thanks for so much, including my wonderful Cardigan Corgis! You all mean so much to me! (BIG HUGS!)

Micah - one of my buds from my Alpha/Omega days! I'll never forget canoeing on the retreats! Hope to see you at Metro again soon! Good luck in school! (HUGS)

Katrina - It was great working with you and I miss you! But I am happy that you found 'the one' for you. Congratulations to you and Steven! (BIG HUG)

Mark - a bud from my CA days! I miss ya! I know you're busy going to school! Keep up the great work and I hope to see you before you leave for Japan! (HUGS)

Recently I took a trip to Scotland with a group of Highlander: The Series fans. Through that I made some new friends. Can't wait for the cruise! Hope to see you all there! I miss you all!!

Yvonne - Official Keeper of the Painted (or was that Red) Faced Sheep. Thanks for not only sharing my Highlander obsession but also my horse obsession! I hope RL life gets less hectic for you soon!

Peggy - Thanks for being my mom away from home on the trip! I enjoyed your stories and insights!

Lisa Q - Thanks for understanding my obsession with Men in Kilts and RTC! Can't wait for our trip in 2000! CR Rules! JF!

Debi - Thanks for your wonderful fanfic! I love it! Can't wait for our trip in 2000! Think we can work in some pony trekking this time?

Through Scottish Country Dancing I have also met some very nice people! Too many to name here, but here's a few.

Dianna - Thanks for being a patient and understanding teacher! I would not be where I am if not for you!

Carol - Men in Kilts! (VBG) Sorry, couldn't resist. Thanks for introducing me to Clandestine and Irish Step Dancing! Can't wait for the next Clandestine show!

Also Bud, Dale, Lucy, John & Marci!

Recently I took a trip to Ft Worth to attend the First Annual North Texas Scottish Country Dancer's Tartan Ball. It was my first Ball and even though people I knew from Houston were there it was still a little intimidating. I met two people who helped me feel a lot less intimidated. I hope to see you both at many more Balls in the future!

Christina - I have really enjoyed your letters! I look forward to the next one!

Preston - Thanks for your information/help on upcoming Balls, Workshops and Dances! Thanks for sharing new dances, and I'm eager to try the one you wrote. When are you going to Scotland again?
