I am 30 years old and the youngest of nine children. My Mom was 49 when she had me and she was my best friend. We talked and saw each other everyday. Sometimes I miss her so much I feel like I can't breath. She was a great mother and gave her life to y father and to my brothers and sisters. I am ashamed to say I am glad that Christmas is over, because I hate that she is not here to share with all of her grandchildren.

This is a very beautiful to you parents. I lost my Dad 11/12/98 & my Mom 2/25/99 just 3 1/2 months later. This has been very devastating to me as I was very close to my parents & so were my children. Just when I think things are better along comes a bad day. The pain is so deep and does not seem to let up. It does help to know that there are others who truly share & understand your pain. I didn't think I'd be Back so soon. By the time I came across your page my shift at work was over so I had to close. I'm sure anything that I'm about to say,has already been said by the visitors of your Mom and Dad's page. I have been thinking that nobody really knows how I feel, they are just being kind in the best way they know how . There kind thoughts and sincere efforts " Are Very Much Appricated by Me ",and will never be forgotten.But until last nite when I decided to look to the web to see if there as other people out there that feel as empty and heartsick as I am over loosing my Mom . Her Birthday was on October 5, and she Died on October 9 ,Also born the same year as your Dad. She was fighting lung problems for the past 9 years. My brothers and si ter and myself should have been alittle more prepared I guess,but,we were'nt. Now we are all just trashed. My sister, God Love Her, is trying so hard to help her big brothers through this awful period. I dread tommorow, I truly wish all the Holidays would just go away for me . I know that it has only been a month since she is gone,to me it seems like a year. People tell me,as time goes on it will get alittle better. It seems that as time goes on for me,it gets harder and I am missing her more and more. I m st be a very selfish to have thought I was the only one to feel the way I do,after reading your page I know I'm not alone out here . Other people are raelly feeling the same way I am. I can feel the love that you have for them and the love that they have for you... and I can feel the pain and emptiness in your heart without them. I know how it feels to lose a parent... I find myself living with a broken heart since I lost my Dad. I los my Dad at the age of 50 yrs. two days following a motor vehicle accident, which nearly claimed the life of my Mom as well. She is now a below-knee amputee as a result of the accident. I stood at my Father's bedside while he took his last breaths... as lo g as I live I know that I will never forget those moments, the sorrow, the heartache. My mom passed away March 13th. The last of the relatives left this morning and now it's time to grieve. I lost my Dad four years ago today. Did you feel like you were suddenly nobody's 'kid' anymore - that you were the older generation and didn't have that nurturing, safe umbrella anymore?
