Haywire Honeymoon
First let me premise my tale by saying that our wedding was indeed all that we dreamed of and more.  Quite blessed and, as we told Fr. Dave after the ceremony, "it was our favorite wedding ever."  It was beautiful, moving, memorable and the best day of our lives so far.  We were so happy to have so many friends and family there surrounding and supporting us with their love.

But then there was our honeymoon to Tahiti...

It began with a sick hubbie.  Mark had some weird bug or nerves or food poisoning thing going on - every morning beginning the day of our wedding.  The "ailment" only reared its head in the morning - for five days in a row - and then he would feel fine by noon.  Thank God he was not sick during the wedding ceremony.  The med center we visited before flying out off to our honeymoon said they did not know what to make of it, but that it sounded like morning sickness.  Hmmm?!  Anyway they gave him a shot to ease the upchucking and sent us on our way.  Things went downhill from there.
See if you can guess which of the following events occurred:

We were happy to get home safely, and just glad that if something had to flop, it was not the wedding!
If you guessed "All of the Above," then you are correct.  Our planned honeymoon of tropical bliss and  relaxation turned out to be a lot of stress-filled waiting, confusion, shuttling and finally three days of trying to relax (in the nice--but stormy--Bora Bora overwater bungalows).  At least we got to see the famous glass coffee table!

Our Pearl Harbor detour.
Snorkeling in the rain (at least they provided the slickers!)
A bit of wind.
A beautiful, though stormy, view from our airport hotel.
Swimming with the sharks and rays was pretty cool.  Though we felt like we'd been "fed to the sharks" most of the trip.
Blue skies 1 hour before our departure.
Mark feeding fish thru the cool coffee table.  This bungalow was our oasis for three days.
