Words of Wisdom

Momma's words of wisdom could fill a hundred books

  1. There is no right way to do a wrong thing.
  2. Don't be afraid to ask dumb questions - they're easier to handle than dumb mistakes.
  3. The secret of happy living is not to do what you like but to like what you do.
  4. If we fill our hours with regrets of yesterday and worries of tomorrow, we have no today in which to be thankful.
  5. Two can live as cheaply as one - if one doesn't eat!
  6. Strength is the charm of a man, and charm is the strength of a woman.
  7. If at first you don't succeed, you're running about average.
  8. The smallest good deed is better than the grandest intention.
  9. If at first you don't succeed, try reading the directions.
  10. Always speak the truth and you'll never be concerned with your memory.
  11. A good memory is fine, but the ability to forgive is the true test of greatness.
  12. My formula for youth....keep your enthusiasms and forget your birthdays

Actually about the only thing my Momma taught me was - not to put Bananas in the refrigerator! j/k "lol"
