My seventh birthday wish came true and I was given a Kodak box camera. I wanted my very first picture to be one of my great grandfather "Dada", a name that everyone in the family and all the kids in the neighborhood lovingly called him. This day is clearly etched in my memory. It was quite cold and he was not in the best of health, but he willingly met my request and came outside where there was light so I could take his picture.
