I am 27 and work in Human Resources and Darrell is 29. He is a full time college student studying to become a Chemical Engineer after 7+ years in the Navy. We live in Portland, Oregon. We also have a menagerie of pets (our substitute children).
My name is Kathy. My husband (and best friend) Darrell and I are
expecting our first baby on April 20th, 1998. This baby is truly a gift. We had been trying to get pregnant for two and a half years and I had just made an appt. for fertility workups when I discovered I was pregnant. I thought the test must be defective, so I took another one. It was also positive and my dr. has confirmed that we are expecting a new addition in the spring! We are both very excited and amazed. We are also terrified at all the responsibility looming ahead of us!: )
