We married two years ago on March 1, 1997. We worked on getting pregnant for
9 months and then did some checking on why that wasn't happening... One
surgery and 6 months later we found out that we were pregnant with our first
baby!!!
We had planned on having her in April when she was due!!! She had other ideas
and decided not to miss out on Christmas. She arrived December 22 and was 4
months early!!! The time we have spent in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
has been long and hard... but it has been worth it to have our longed for
baby...
She was 1 pound 13 ounces and her lowest weight was 1 lb 4 ozs.!
She is now 3 lbs 9 ozs. and growing every day! We hope to bring her home by
our original due date.
