I am a full time working mommy. By day, I am an electrical engineer at a
defense contractor. By night, supermommy!! By day, my husband is
superpapa!! By night, he is an engineering technician at the same company.
We also have my mom help us with my son for a couple of hours in the
afternoon until I get home.
We are attachment parenters. This means that we cosleep with my son. I
nursed him until this pregnancy. He weaned himself at 18 months, and never
had formula. I wore him in a sling, I don't believe in spanking or crying
it out. And he was exclusively nursed until 6 months, no food or water. I
believe my son has benefited greatly from this. He is the healthiest,
happiest baby I have ever met. If I do say so myself. LOL.
We also have 3 chow chows, Barkley, Koko, and Senna, Who are our first
babies.
As you can see, we are very busy!! But we have never been happier!!
I have been a storkie since May 1996, and am totally addicted to the site.
It is such a wonderful place. I have loved sharing my experiences and
pregnancies with all of you!

Hi, My name is Maria, and I am 32. My husband is Perry, and he is 33. We
have been together for 9 ½ years and married for 5 years. We were married
on January 8, 1994, and have had a wonderful relationship! We have a son,
Christian, born on January 24, 1997. He is the most important thing that has
ever happened to us. He is so amazing to watch. He is learning so much every
day, it is hard to keep up with him. We are currently expecting our second
baby, a girl. She is due on April 11, 1999. We are so looking forward to her
birth.
