When they found out they were expecting their first child we decided to move back to Buffalo to be closer to Mishelle's family. On March 31, 1998 Mishelle had their first son, Michael Franklin Lane III (AKA Mikey). He weighed in at 8lbs 13.3oz and was 20.5"in length.
He came into the world with a head full of hair and the bluest eyes imaginable (which have stayed that way). He is now 7 months old and doing all sorts of fun stuff.. He doesn't crawl but he loves to stand up and play in his exersaucer. Just in the past week he has learned how to clap~it is sooooo cute!
On August 9th Mishelle decided (out of the blue) to do a home pregnancy test. Women's intuition is always right! The test came out positive. Mishelle, Michael and brother Mikey will welcome the 'little bun' sometime in April (official due date is April 19th, 1999)... So far, they have only had one ultrasound of 'little bun' at around 15weeks. They will have another between 26-28weeks to find out the sex.
They also have two beloved pet doggies named Sadie and Summer. Sadie Girl is a full breed chocolate lab and Summer Girl is a lab/shepard mix. They will be coming back indoors for winter.. Can't wait to see Mikey play with them!!!
Life is a precious miracle.. We are so thrilled to be able to share it with such a wonderful network of caring women at StorkSite.

Michael and Mishelle met on the internet on May 25th, 1994. He lived in New Orleans, LA and she in Buffalo, NY. Less than 3 months after their meeting Michael dropped everything and moved to NY and on September 30th, 1995 they were married in St. Cyril & Methody Macedonian Orthodox Church. They lived in Buffalo (actually Orchard Park) until July '96 at which time they moved to New Orleans with Michael's job.
