I quess before I go I should say a word about Storksite, the awesome
little reason we're all friends!- I joined SS in 1996 when they were
still at their "old" site. We have grown so much since then. I
originally chose my handle because at the time I was "Exhausted"
literally, but words that started with the letter "E" weren't a part of
my vocabulary.....example~ "E"nergy--with a newborn I didn't have a
whole lot of it!, and "E"quality--at the time I was the only one having
to drag my sleepy butt out of bed to nurse on demand every 2 hours!! hee
hee! and finally, "E"cstasy--yeah right!! what's that 4 weeks
postpartum!! *laughing* so hence I chose to leave the "E" off and joked
about it to everyone I've met here!---Alot of people just call me X, so
it's worked out really nice!--- and I'm getting myself geared up for
another session of no "E"'s for a little while... but it is so worth
it!! I'm glad God made me a woman so I could experience this
breathtaking miracle of growing and giving life.
Since this page is in HONOR of being pregnant, I thought I would share
my favorite *PREGNANT* picture from when I was pregnant with Spencer...
about a week later I popped!---
**P.S. I giggle every time I see this picture!- I still remember Steve,
down on the wrestling mat saying "uh, honey, I promise to never laugh at
you trying to "roll" out of bed again, I can't get up, could you give me
a hand please?" and although we have compared bellies since then I still
think mine was better cause mine is the one that produced the best
*surprise*!!
Thanks again for coming to visit my page!! Love, Andrea
Hi! Thanks for looking me up! My name is Andrea and I've been married to
my best friend and soulmate, Steve for 6 years. We battled infertilty
early on, but eventually became pregnant with twins (a son and a
daughter)only to lose the pregnancy at 5 months along miscarrying the
day of our third wedding aniversary. It was the hardest thing I've ever
had to endure, having my children, holding them and then having to give
them up. Wade and Morgan are buried between Steve's grandparents and
their marker reads "Forever and Always Our Little Angels".
Not ready to go back on fertility drugs again after the loss, we were
totally shocked when I started having pregnancy symptoms again. OH MY!,
Come to find out three weeks after we had been "snowed" in and unable to
go to work one day in Feb. we were pregnant again!----My darling son,
Spencer (shown in picture above) was born nine months later! He just
turned 2 this past Nov. and he is such a GREAT kid! He was born with an
acute allergy to milk and all products containing milk so I ended up
nursing him until he was 14 months old. Needless to say, that kept us
from getting pregnant again for the first year of life, but as soon as I
weaned him, that very next month we found out we were expecting again.
Something about the pregnancy didn't feel right to me though, call it
woman's intution or whatever but I went back to the Dr. and was told
that yes we were losing the pregnancy and there was nothing I could do
but go home and wait. I m/c at 7 1/2 weeks. I think it would have been a
boy and the due date was within a week of Spencer's. It was hard to
muster up the courage to "try" again, but once again, sure enough, "when
you least expect it"! *LOL* Our Dr. had told us to try all summer long
then come back in Aug for another workup---My visit in Aug ended up
being the confirmation of this pregnancy that I am now in!!--- I'm going
to be an APRIL MOMMY!! or so I thought! The first U/S dated my pregnancy
as due date April 7th, but that didn't match my dates right.... then
according to my last U?S that I had done they adjusted my due date to
Mar. 30th, so I know I will be one of the first mommies in here to
deliver! I wanted to stay an April Mommy because the girls of this month
are SO WONDERFUL!!
