"Hi Eric- Here's a picture of the original Blacksmith shop
(click here) owned by Herman and Otto Joecks for the website. The man in the middle is Great Grandpa Otto. Great, great Uncle Herman is on the
right the boy in froont is either Leonard or Archy. The man on the left is unidentified. I wish I had one of those programs that could enhance pictures. I have a hard copy of this for you too. I
borrowed this postcard from Garry "Butch" Joecks. It has been underneath the desk glass in the gas station for many years. They always meant to do something with it. Jerry and I had quite a few
copies made to distribute to the family. I also have it on zip disk. We estimate the picture to be taken some time between 1918 and 1920 based on the age of the boy presumed to be Archy or
Leonard. I'm also having some pictures developed onto CD of the 2nd Blacksmith shop/gas station and the original homestead where Grandpa was born. There are also some photos of
headstones wihich provide birth and death dates of various family members. We had a nice trip. The boys got a good dose of family history. Hope the picture comes through. Talk to you later."

They got married! A whirlwind romance has culminated in the union of these two wonderful people
and their four boys (Sam, Grant, Phillip, and Evan)! Talk about a handful...fortunately they're all great
kids. The wedding was beautiful, and was hosted by Kay, who did an amazing job putting it all together. It was
attended by many of you, and for those who couldn't make it-we missed you! I am hoping to be able to post
more photos of this event soon.
