QUIET HOME WEDDING
The farm home of
Mr. and Mrs. Wm Akeman near Eaton, Ill was the scene of a beautiful wedding
Sunday at noon when their daughter, Ina Mae and Donald Dean Price of Urbana,
Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Price of Annapolis, Ill were united in marriage
by the Rev. Orin Young of Hutsonville.
The ceremony
took place on the spacious lawn of the home. The beautiful ring service
was read in the presence of the immediate families and a few intimate friends.
The bride was lovely in
a gown of white georgette, with tight basque waist and a full circular
skirt. She carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and sweet
peas. They were attended by Miss Nina Faye Akeman of Terre Haute,
Ind., twin sister of the bride and Kenneth Gewer of Annapolis. Miss
Akeman wore a gown of tan georgette over rose crepe and carried a bouquet
of garden flowers and sweet peas. Immediately following the ceremony
and a sumptuous wedding dinner amidst a shower of rice and old shoes the
bride and groom left for Urbana, Ill.
Mrs. Price attended the
Illinois State Teachers College at Charleston, Ill., and has taught for
the past three years in the county schools. Mr. Price has been with
the Stanfield & Barrett Co. for the past six years until recently when
he became connected with the A & P Grocery Store at Urbana, Ill.
The people of Annapolis
extend congratulations.
