John Bickel married Anna Rosina "Rosina" Easley, daughter of John Easley & Barbara Strauchen (Easley family page).  Rosina was born October 31, 1841 in Crawford County, Ohio.  She died on January 28, 1890.

They had the following children:

2. Catherine "Katie" Bickel.  Born on September 27, 1867 in Crawford County, Ohio.  Catherine "Katie" died on July 16, 1953.

On December 9, 1884 when Catherine "Katie" was 17, she married Nathan Roe, son of Joel Roe (1806-1879) and Mary Odle (1813-1916), in Adams County, Indiana.  Nathan was born on October 7, 1857 in Washington Township, Adams County, Indiana.  He died in Adams County, Indiana on April 5, 1937, he was 79.

They had the following children:

Cristal Manerva first married Elmer Roller.
Cristal Manerva second married Morris J. Slagle.

3. Fredrick Jacob Bickel.  Born on May 4, 1869 in Crawford County, Ohio.  Fredrick Jacob died before June, 1976.

Child:
            i.  Anna Louise.

4. Mary Christine Bickel.  Born on March 14, 1872 in Adams County, Indiana.  Mary Christine died before June, 1976.

Mary Christine married Mr. Riley.

They had the following children:
        i.  Jessie May.  Born on August 21, 1896.
        ii.  John Clinton.  Born on July 13, 1898.  John Clinton died on January 27, 1932, he was 33.
        iii.  Clifford Warner.  Born on December 20, 1900.
16. iv.  Marry Pauline.
        v.  Frederick Charles.
        vi.  Francis Orris.  Born on January 22, 1914.  Francis Orris died on January 2, 1940, he was 25.

5. Emma Roseana Bickel.  Born on October 8, 1873 in Adams County, Indiana.  Emma Roseana died in Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois on June 10, 1976, she was 102.  She is buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois.

On August 18, 1892 when Emma Roseana was 18, she married Richard Henry Tolleson, in Cowling, Wabash County, Illinois.  Richard Henry died in 1949.

They had the following children:

          iii.  Edna Pearl.  Born on October 5, 1897.  Edna Pearl died of typhoid and brain fever on September 6, 1913, she was 15.  She is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois.
         iv.  John Henry.  Born on January 24, 1900 in Knox County, Indiana.  John Henry died in Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois on January 8, 1968, he was 67.  He is buried in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois.

On Dec 23, 1941 when John Henry was 41, he first married Modjeska Blair, daughter of Fred T. Blair (-bef Oct 22, 1949) & Daisy Peterson (-aft Oct 22, 1949), in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri. Born on Mar 10, 1901 in Roy D. Short Memorial Chapel, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois. Modjeska died in Roy D. Short Memorial Chapel, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois on Oct 22, 1949, she was 48.

John Henry second married Marie Shular.

        vi.  Richard Stanley "Stanley".  Born on May 6, 1909 in Illinois.  Richard Stanley "Stanley" died in Burbank, Cook County, Illinois on March 22, 1985, he was 75.

Richard Stanley "Stanley" married Leslie Goldie Moyer.

6. Anna May Bickel.  Born on September 10, 1877 in Adams County, Indiana.  Anna May died in November, 1977, she was 100.

Anna May married Mr. Eaton.

They had the following children:
        i.  Noel Bryan.  Born on June 24, 1896.  Noel Bryan died in October, 1970.
        ii.  Otis Lee.  Born on August 26, 1898.  Otis Lee died in March, 1966.

7. Frances Elizea Bickel.  Born on May 31, 1880.  Frances Elizea died before June, 1976.

Frances Elizea married Mr. Hudgins.

        i.  Joseph Leslie.  Born on October 29, 1902.  Joseph Leslie died on August 22, 1992.
        ii.  Thelma Marie.  Born in July, 1905.  Thelma Marie died in 1906.

8.Laura Elizabeth Roe. Born on Nov 14, 1885 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Monroe, Indiana. Laura Elizabeth died in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana on Nov 9, 1960, she was 74.

On Sep 15, 1905 when Laura Elizabeth was 19, she married Charles Curtis Saum, son of David Albert Saum & Louise Elizabeth Chilcote, in Adams County, Indiana. Born on Mar 12, 1884 in Wilshire, Ohio. Charles Curtis died in Warsaw, Kosciusko County, Indiana on Oct 22, 1974, he was 90. in Oct 1974 Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.

iii. Carmine Elizabeth. Born on Sep 28, 1915 in Lima, Mercer County, Ohio. Carmine Elizabeth died in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana on Jul 1, 1991, she was 75.

Carmine Elizabeth first married Thurman D. Wolfe, son of Curtis B. Wolfe & Florence L. Smith, in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. Born on Mar 24, 1909 in Decatur, Indiana. Thurman D. died in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana on Jun 24, 1965, he was 56.

Carmine Elizabeth second married Walter Frederick Fiedler. Born in 1903. Walter Frederick died in Hamilton, Indiana in 1958, he was 55.

Carmine Elizabeth third married George Nelson Lake. Born in 1929 in Pleasant Lake, Indiana. George Nelson died in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana in 1992, he was 63.

Carmine Elizabeth fourth married Ed Mueller.

9.Frederick Joel Roe. Born on May 4, 1887 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana. Frederick Joel died in Wells County, Indiana on Nov 10, 1968, he was 81. in Nov 1968 Monroe, Adams County, Indiana.

On May 30, 1908 when Frederick Joel was 21, he married Daisy Galloway. Daisy died on Feb 28, 1937.

They had the following children:
i. Delmas. Born on Dec 19, 1908. Delmas died in Mar 1979, he was 70. in Mar 1979 Monroe, Adams County, Indiana.

Delmas married Veda Hough.

10.Mary Rosina Roe. Born on Mar 31, 1889 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana. Mary Rosina died on Nov 4, 1985, she was 96. in Nov 1985.

Mary Rosina married Rolla Earl Coppock, in Adams County, Indiana.

11.Flossie Alta Roe. Born on May 29, 1892 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana. Flossie Alta died in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Oct 14, 1963, she was 71.

Flossie Alta first married John Elliot.
In 1910 when Flossie Alta was 17, she second married Hershell Russell.
In 1915 when Flossie Alta was 22, she third married Fred Van De Bogart.
In 1929 when Flossie Alta was 36, she fourth married Elmo Johnson.

12.Orva May Roe. Born on Mar 8, 1895 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana. Orva May died in Kokomo, Indiana on Jan 8, 1965, she was 69.

On Dec 28, 1911 when Orva May was 16, she married Hary Carver, in Adams County, Indiana.

13.Pearl Dewey Roe. Born on Sep 1, 1898 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana.

On Dec 25, 1916 when Pearl Dewey was 18, she married Wayne Selby.

14.Florence Dessie Roe. Born on Feb 11, 1901 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana. Florence Dessie died in Cleveland, Ohio on Nov 9, 1954, she was 53.

Florence Dessie first married Clarence Cummings.

They had one child:
i. Edmond (Died as Infant). Born in 1928. Edmond died in 1928.

Florence Dessie second married Gernis Olds.
Florence Dessie third married Levi Lyons.

15.Rolla Roe. Born on Jul 28, 1904 in Blue Creek, Adams County, Indiana. Rolla died in Allen County, Indiana on Jan 30, 1992, he was 87. in Jan 1992 Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.

Rolla married Beulah Shellenberger.

17.Ida Celeste Tolleson. Born on Jul 28, 1894 in Decker, Indiana. Ida Celeste died in Elmer, Missouri on Dec 13, 1987, she was 93. Buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinos.

Travis Funeral Home in LaPlata, Missouri was in charge of arrangements.

Ida Celeste married Nolan Clark Benham. Nolan Clark died bef Dec 13, 1987.

18.Lenora Alice Tolleson. Born on Dec 30, 1895 in Knox County, Indiana. Lenora Alice died in Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois on Dec 19, 1979, she was 83. Buried in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois. in Dec 1979 Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois.

Lenora belonged to the United Evangelical Church. At the time of her death, Lenora had 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Also surviving was a cousin Lillian Chapman of Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

Lenora Alice married Albert Spencer Glazier, son of Joseph Spencer Glazier & Clara Brown. Albert Spencer died in 1959. Buried in Roy D. Short Memorial Chapel, Mt. Carmel, Wabash County, Illinois.  (For more information on Albert Spencer Glaizer's family go here.)
