The sun is always shining here in my little virtual garden. But I also love to spend time in my real garden, and although I say I love to garden, sometimes I wonder why. Gardening can be real hard work ya know, although Mr. Funbug helps a LOT and I don't know what I'd do without him. But when I have a spectacular show in my front yard like these foxgloves, I know why I say I love to garden.
These pages are graphic intensive and may take a while to load. Hopefully, you will think it was worth the wait.
I am particularly proud of these foxgloves because I grew them from seed. Foxgloves are biennials, which means that they live for 2 years, blooming the second year before they die. They are also used in both medicine and poisons, but I just like 'em cuz they are really pretty!
I also have learned a lot about gardening via the internet. I found found a lot of great gardening information, as well as great people, on sites such as Prairie Frontier, and Garden Country.
I used to only have vegetable gardens, but in the past couple of years I have discovered the joy of flowers and bulbs.
Here's some of our favorite pics from the garden. (Click on thumbnail to view the full size picture)
