MrFunbug dug a stream that was just a few inches deep. We went to Home Depot to get some liner for the stream and when we got it home we realized they had really messed up cutting the liner and they gave us way too much. So rather than waste all that free liner, MrFunbug had a brilliant idea. He dug the stream down deep and turned in into more of a canal and then the fish would have much more room. It was 38 feet from end to end. (See MrFunbug standing way back there on the right?)

MrFunbug spent a really long time with the plumbing so I had to put this picture in.

Unfortunately the brilliant idea had a major flaw. We had used a different grade of liner for the extension and taped it with double sided tape to the original 45 mil liner. One very hot day the tape gave way and the pond starting leaking! We had to convert the pond back to it's original dimensions!
