My niece graduated from Depauw University this past week so Memorial Day weekend was the occasion of a party at my brother's house in Indy. 

This custom-made quilt shows covers of magazines she had by-lines in while in college, photos, actual stories and mastheads, and other highlights of college. Really neat. Printed by her boyfriend with an Epson r200 and stitched together by his mom.  Besides money, she got a lot of technology presents this weekend... HP Photosmart 407, Mac G4 iBook, Palm E2 (from her boyfriend), LCD TV and DVD player (from Aunts and Uncles).

Among other things, Sarah was editor of Depauw's student newspaper. Sarah has a job offer from Southern Living Magazine.  She's also fielding calls and interview requests from other businesses. It's nice to see a college graduate with employment options in such abundance.
