Life imitates art on the Rock River

Oooh... Our plan to stage Seurat's painting on the bank of the Rock River made the front page, above the fold, of tonight's (Wednesday) Beloit Daily News! The screen shot above is the BDN web site this evening. The article covers a lot and is a pretty good read. I knew the paper was going to 'work up a story' but I had no idea it would occupy the front page with a color photo. Wow. It seems this idea has great appeal. I just hope the weather cooperates and we have a few extra generous photographers show up to help capture the moment. |

That's the plan, Cheryl. I'll be taking photos and directing people with others helping direct ("compose). I fear my equipment isn't up to producing the deep quality we'd like to see in the resulting photo.
