Well, well, well... come home from a long day at work and find enormous numbers of views, comments and general activity on the Seurat photos that were posted at Flickr earlier this week. I'm thrilled to see our Beloit community get noticed like this! Reason? The Seurat painting re-creation was featured on the Flickr Blog! A contributor to PC/Technology columnist John Dvorak's blog included the BDN AP-wire photo and back linked to the BDN story by Ann Montgomery. |

Last I checked, the one photo had 10,599 views. That's 10,450 since last Saturday and over 10,000 more than my previously "most viewed" photo.
I'm happy beyond measure with all the positive, upbeat publicity this generated for the Beloit area. Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. I could never have predicted or planned this.
