I'm with you, brother. I get so tired of all this crap all the time. There is an informercial that comes on here on Saturdays, right at lunch time for a colon cleanser deal..."especially for those folks that hit middle age." I hate that thing...the guy is so greasy looking and the big deal is over how much crap John Wayne had in him when he died. God!!! I curse and aim the remote at the TV like a laser gun to get the thing off! Just let me figure out how to buy my "own" shit!! :) Karen

Yup, I agree wholeheartedly. Didn't Marx claim religion was the opiate(sp?)of the people; well, today, its the TV. Afraid we're nothing more than a nation of sheep anymore--fearful sheep at that. KS

Glorified snake oil. Like that stuff I'm using to lose weight. I showed it to my doctor and he called it crap, but said to take it anyway because it wouldn't kill me. LOL So far, I've lost 10 pounds, but could that be because I've been working out 3 days a week? Perhaps it just gave me incentive. The real kicker is that after taking the "Quick Start" potion for a week, they have a barrage of other items that you "should" use (buy) as well. Nah, I'm not falling for that. (Hey, at least the Quick Start stuff came with a great book.)
