Haircut
Rod, owner of Austin's Barber Shop, cuts my wife's hair a couple of weekends ago. ![]() She had a little "oops" trying to trim a curl off the back with scissors so I called Rod to see if he'd still be open when we got downtown on our bike ride (we planned to go to Farmer's Market). He was, so we stopped. He got her back straightened out as best he could and I thought we were going to leave when I turned around and she was back in the chair getting her entire head cut. So... I grabbed the camera and started to document the occasion. Check out the clock in the mirror... Needless to say, by the time Suzie was out of the chair Farmer's Market was closing down. Rod and Kim treated us to lunch at Bagels and More and we all went shopping at a couple of boutiques downtown. She likes her haircut a lot and it comes as no surprise to me that a barber knows how to cut and style short hair! 2007-08-13 03:55:02 GMT

When I was a younger person say about 50 years ago, I wanted my hair cut just like my brothers.. another attempt on my part to be a boy... so good old Gus FRY would cut my hair. He was dad's barber...
