RAW to JPG

The first frame is an example of Canon digital RAW photo (12-bit color .CR2), which was then converted using Canon Digital Photo Pro in second frame (lossless 8-bit .JPG), and then with further enhancements (3rd frame) using Google's Picasa 3.

Initially used DPP to edit and convert. Enhancing the contrast, brightness, saturation, sharpness and color balance, and then cropping the frame. The jpg created was lossless.

From that version, I used Picasa 3 to further enhance brightness/contrast, adding a little more saturation (probably too much), and putting a graduated tint to darken the background.
