Our family has expanded with                    the birth of Emma Marie

The Stats

Born: April 13th, 2000 At: 12:42pm Eyes: Blue Hair: Dark Brown Height: 21 in. Weight: 7 lbs., 13 oz.

First Breath

The 411...

On April 13th, Emma broke through the water at 6am.  After a relatively easy labor, (and a relatively easy pregnancy) she decided to make up for it by making the delivery a little challenging.  Lisa pushed for over 2 and a half hours (every 2 minutes) and finally, Emma needed a little help from a vacuum extractor (hoover, I think.)  There was a little mark left for a day or so, but now everything appears fine. Since then, she has been an ultimate joy, and is even getting better at telling her days from nights, which she had backward her first couple of nights.  She has been able to get her parents wrapped around her tiny fingers in absolutely no time at all.
