Sand Tarts
1 cup flour
¾ stick butter
½ t. salt
½ cup chopped nuts
½ t. ice water
½ t. vanilla
powdered sugar
Sift flour, add salt, and cut in butter. Add vanilla, ice water, and nuts, mix well. Shape into balls. Bake 15 minutes at 375 or until very lightly browned. Roll into powdered sugar while still warm. Cool then roll again
