As with his father, this researcher has only what was given in the book " The Gentry Family in America" by Richard Gentry, for Robert and his wife Nancy.  Nancy was born in 1790 in Fredrick County, Virginia and died about 1857 in Jackson County, Tennessee.  Her parentage has not been determined.
