To - Robert Herrin

And whereas on the 11th day of November 1858, A.T. Mott, made, executed and delivered to Robert Herrin, a general warrenty deed including both of the above boundries which deed reads as follows; I, Amos T. Mott, have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto Robert Herrin, his heirs and assigns forever for the consideration of six hundred dollars, to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Putnam County, District No. 8, lying and being on the waters of Mine Lick. Bounded as follows ( towit), beginningon black gum and hickory as the corner of Clinton Herrin's line at or near the ford of the creek, thence south 27 degress west 10 poles, to a stake, thence east 15 poles to sugar tree, thence north 40 degress east, 11 poles to a stake in Gabril Herrin's line, thence with his line east, passing his north east corner at 80 poles, in all 202 poles to a stake at the bandk of the Creek, thence west withe the Creek 6 poles, to a stake in the Creek and sugar tree on the north bank for pointer, thence north with Wiseman Herrin's line 4 poles to a stake in the field, thence west with Wiseman Herrin's line 140 poles to a hickory and chestnut oak, thence south 126 poles to the beginning, containing by estimation, 160 acres be the same more or less, to have and to hold the same unto the said Robert Herrin, his heirs and assigns. I do covenant with the said Herrin that I am lawfully seized of said land have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered, I so further covenant and bind myself, my heirs and lawful representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to the same Robert Herrin, his heirs and assigns forever, against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. In testimony whereof, I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal, on this the 11th day of Novmber, A.D. 1858

And we, Lewis Maynor and Sarah Maynor, hereby relinguish to Robert Herrin, his heirs and assigns forever all our right, title, claim and interest, that I, Sarah Maynor, have or ever had in and to dower in the above described lands. I, Sarah Maynor, having heretofore sold and conveyed unto said Amos T. Mott, my dower interest in said lands. Witness our hands and seals this 11th day of November, A.D. 1858
