GLD Sanctuary

The George L. Davis Potbelly Pig Sanctuary is located in SW Florida and currently has over 400 unwanted, abused, or abandoned Pigs. Established in September of 1997, with 34 pigs, we have grown immensely! This is the largest Potbelly Pig Sanctuary in Florida, The largest brucellosis/pseudorabies free herd in the country, and a non-profit no-kill shelter. Since the beginning of the club, 2 years ago, we have rescued over 650 pigs and have adopted out to good and loving homes over 200..

Wally is part Duroc hog and enjoys his water .

Aggie was rescued when he was about a week old, we bottle fed him for 5 months, he has also been diagnosed with a bad liver and never to live more than 6 months, Aggie celebrated his 1 year birthday on Aug 15th.


Leo was rescued from Key West,FLa. He is the friendliest un-neutered silver boar here, he actually likes to have his tongue tickled!

Katie and "Chopper" are friends now, Katie(white) has been adopted and is awaiting her new house to be built, Chopper thinks he has his own herd, of 1!

And of course here's ROTO, the largest registered Potbelly Pig in the country, 425lbs,resting in his favorite place, under the table!
