He leads me down the path of life,
And shows me that I need not be afraid,
He loves me even knowing
The mistakes that I have made
He teaches me everyday,
That I have much to give,
To be kind and unselfish,
Is the only way to live.
He leads me through the days,
As seasons come and go,
He is my guide to inner peace
In everything that I do and know.
As he walks with me through my life,
I pray he'll always be,
right there beside me all the way,
Because the Lord is dear to me.
