So what's new with us?
We are having a typically busy summer as usual. To make things particularly busy Dave and I joined The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team In Training program. Bascially it's a fundraising program designed to have participants raise money for research to combat cancer. While we raise funds they train us for four months to complete a marathon. The one we signed up for is in Portland, Oregon on October 6th. It has been very challenging, but we have met some terrific people and feel good about the cause. Other news is that Aly has chosen a college, The University of the Pacific. She heads off next month to begin her four year stay there. Dave and I will then become empty nesters which we look forward to with mixed feelings.
