The Brandon Family

June is a full time mother to Liam (8 months) Lyle III (Junior) (11), Ryan (13) and Kristen (18) and wife to Lyle. We finally updated the page to include some more family pictures. Lyle is a Marine Maintenance Mechanic for the Coast Guard. We live in Baltimore, Maryland where we teach quilting and work at putting together a small mail order quilting and craft supply business through JC Design Works. We actively participate in several on-line block, fat quarter and charm swaps through QuiltBee, Mystery Quilters, Sunshine Group and other groups.

Here we all are in February 1999. We finally got our picture taken together and it didn't turn out too badly. From left to right at the back are Kristen, Junior, Lyle, Ryan and Liam and June are in front.

Here are the new baby pictures that everyone has anxiously been hounding us for !!! We figured it was time to get them developed and scanned and uploaded on to our web page. You will all have to pardon my appearance and my 25 year old dressing gown but I love it, it's so comfy!!

Proud Grandma and Pap Brandon holding their latest grandchild. In a time when they are greeting the arrival of great-grandparents they are suddenly confronted with a new grandchild too!!!

In the fall Lyle and I took Kristen and Liam to see Kenny Chesney at Marley Station in Glen Burnie. Kenny Chesney was giving a free concert at the shopping mall. Here they are at the railing saving my place so we can get a good view.

Here are Ryan, Liam and Lyle III in our livingroom. The older boys haven't wasted any time teaching Liam all their tricks!!!!

We had a great Christmas this year (1998). Grandma Piper came to visit us from Canada and spent 10 days with us. All the kids love to have her visit. Unfortunately it was her last visit as she passed away May 27, 1999 after a long battle with Hepatitus C and diabetes.

Liam really enjoyed Grandma's visit. He spent a lot of time chasing after her cane and playing with it.

Grandma and Liam got along famously and spent a lot of time playing and getting to know each other.
