As far as a price limit is concerned is for the snail mail, it is hard to put a price on something hand made. But no-one expects anyone to go out and spend a fortune on this gift. The idea is to make something special that can be treasured by the receiver. And everyone knows each of us have our own children and families to buy for. Gifts should be no more than $5. Maybe send a Christmas card too.
