Welcome to Calvin's Geneva - Shiva's page
For those of you who don't know me, Shiva is my dog. She is a Schnauzer/Terrier mix, about 4 years old and was from the Animal Rescue League (the SPCA) in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. It is likely as much a surprise to her as it is to me to find herself in Geneva! Back to the top	Shiva arrived about two weeks after I did. In order to get a direct flight from Toronto, she flew into Zurich which meant we had to take the train back from Zurich to Geneva. It is a very nice train trip but for a dog who was simultaneous overstimulated and exhausted... well, it was just too much. Desperately wanted to sleep but intoxicated by the smells and sounds of a new country, she ended up going in and out of consciousness. This picture, taken as we were between Bern & Fribourg, is one of my favourites. Well, some people found that one too sad, so I've been chasing Shiva around trying to get a better one... I got a lot of pictures of Shiva's hindquarters, but they weren't suitable for the web. This one was taken in the underbrush of the woods behind the School, as Shiva prowled around. There is no big counterpart to this image, because I'm running out of webspace... I'm going to have to reorganize! This is a background I sent back to my old school (RCS Netherwood). I used to create common backgrounds for every computer on the network (they would change as I found the time to create a new one) and thought they might like to use this one. This one is clickable.
