Descendants of Joel Robbins
Generation No. 1
1. JOEL5 ROBBINS (ARTHUR4, WILLIAM3, THOMAS2, THOMAS1) was born Abt. 1770 in Brunswick County, NC, and died Sep-1821 in Brunswick County, NC.  He married MARY REAVES, daughter of JOEL REAVES and PENELOPE ROBBINS.  She died 22-Aug-1828 in Brunswick County, NC.
Notes for JOEL ROBBINS:
In the 1816 minutes of the Mill Creek Baptist Church, Joel was listed as the "clark."  This indicates that he could read and write, and probably wrote the minutes himself.  His wife Mary Reaves was the sister of Joel Reeves who was noted as "deacon" of the church.
Children of JOEL ROBBINS and MARY REAVES are:

	ii.	JOEL ROBBINS.

Notes for PRUDENCE ROBBINS:
Prudence is listed as a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church in the 1816 minutes.  She was obviously only 8 years old at that writing.
David Yielding, a Utah Genealogist, tells the story that Prudence was "In complete practice of medicine, and on a night childbirth call in 1869, she was in a run-away team buggy accident, receiving internal injuries, later resulting in her death. She obviously would have been 61 years old.
