Well, if you clicked here, then you wanted to read about our faith and our beliefs. We don't practice "religion", we live by the word of God. We don't really believe in "religion", we believe in GOD.

Today is a confusing time for so many people...different religions and different faiths...it can be very difficult. Seems like every week there is some new age religion that has sprung up which is sure to bring you peace, and *personal* happiness. These religions are based on what feels good, and what makes you happy. But these things are only temporary!! The only way to find TRUE peace and happiness is through the Lord Jesus Christ!! But if you listen to the TV, the radio, the psychics begging you to call them promising to reveal the truth in your life--you will end up desperate for relief...and the truth is right before you. It's called the Holy Bible, and the truth is written there in black and white--and praise God, even RED! 0=o)

I was brought up Southern Baptist so I guess my roots lie deeply there. We grew up next to the pastor of our church, and my parents instilled in me a strong belief in God. If someone asks me what I am, I will say I am a Southern Baptist, because that is where I feel I always seem to go back to. (and no Southern Baptist's aren't oppressive...LOL we won't even go there!) Right now we go to an Assemblies of God church because it seems to meet our needs. But if you ask me what "religion" I am, I am not sure what to say. I am a Christian. Is that a religion?

I am of the mind that Jesus Christ walked upon this earth, He was sent here by the Heavenly Father the Lord God Almighty, He died upon a cross to deliver us of our sins, and He was resurrected. I believe in the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Because of that, I can ask for forgiveness of my sins and have asked the Lord to reside in my heart forever, so I have eternal salvation and I have a place in the Kingdom of God! I feel His presence in every area of my life, He is with me every moment, and He guides me in all I do, because of Him I am never alone. So what religion is that? Hmmm...I dunno. Like I said, I call myself a Christian. I don't know if that is my religion or not.

If you don't know the Lord and would like to--please go here. I am no hard core salesman, you won't find condemnation there, you will not find me pushing you--but you just might find peace.

I don't care to be challenged about my beliefs...LOL...I am a stubborn one, and I am not moved by "new age" promises, or other sorts of promotions....I am moved by the "Rock of Ages" and I have the faith that He will deliver me. I am not nor have I ever been a "holier than thou" kind of person. I don't challenge other people's faith any more than I chose to have my own faith challenged, but I can tell you without a doubt that I would die defending my beliefs, they are THAT much a part of me. I don't preach to people, I don't force my faith upon people, I am not really a "my way is the only way" sort of person, although perhaps I may believe it is true ~wink~, that is not what this is about.

I hear horror stories of people being attacked for being vocal about their beliefs, but I can't help but shout it out!!! I am soooooooo thankful for all of the glorious things the Lord does in my life everyday!!! I felt compelled to put this here.
