Today I started Kindergarten. I finally got to ride the Big Girl Bus. I was so excited. Kindergarten is going to be so much fun.

Today I turned 4 years old. I had a Lilo and Stitch birthday party complete with a beach cake. I got all kinds of neat stuff. I got earrings, the Monsters movie, games and clothes.

Today I had to go to the doctor's for my yearly checkup. I weigh 40 1/4 pounds and am 42 1/4 inches tall. The doctor gave me 3 shots so I can start school next year. The tetanus shot sure does burn, but I didn't cry!!!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! Today I turned 3 years old. I had a Blues Clues Party and got lots of presents. Mommy made cupcakes for me to carry to school this morning.

Today is my first day of Preschool. I am going to St. John's First Step. My teacher's names are Ms. Leola and Ms. Tampa. I love going to school, although it is still my first day.

I'm POTTY TRAINED!!!! I am in big girl panties today. I sleep in a Pull-Up at nights and haven't had an accident yet. My mommy calls me her "Big Girl" now. I am just like sissy. Mommy bought me some Franklin, Pooh, and Barney panties.

Went to the doctor today for my 2 year checkup. I got to stand on the "big girl" scale and have my temperature taken like the "big girls". The doctor said I am growing right on schedule and I am so smart. She doesn't have a clue of how much trouble I can get in.

I have learned how to sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and I can say my alphabet. Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy know what I am saying but I don't think anyone else does. It sounds like the tune to Twinkle, Twinkle but I can't quite get the words right.

Daddy had doctor duty today. I went for my 15 month checkup. I weighed 23 pounds 11 1/2 ounces and measured 31 1/2 inches. I passed all my milestones and Dr. Cathy gave me flouride tablets to take after brushing my teeth. I had to get my last shots until school starts today. OUCH!!!
August 10, 1999
Mommy took me to the doctor's today to make sure I didn't have and ear infection. I weighed 21.4 pounds and everything was fine except for two new teeth popping through and a mild cold. I can pull up and stand by myself, crawl on my hands and knees, and even cruise the furniture. I still follow my big sister around everywhere and she doesn't even mind. Boy am I growing.

Boy, I am really cruising now. Mommy says that I look like a soldier in the Army crawling under wire. I use my arms and legs, not hands and knees. I can now say "Dada" and "Maaamaaamaaaa". I can clap my hands and sit by myself.

I sat up by myself for the first time today. Mommy is so proud of me. I can't hold myself up very long without tipping over. Last night, Mommy caught me rocking back and forth on my knees in my crib. I bet it won't be long before I crawl.

I got my first tooth today. It is on the bottom and I don't like the way it feels a all. It hurts. The one beside it is starting to come in beside it. Mommy thinks that my top teeth will be coming in any time too. I don't think I am going to like this much.

I had my 6 month checkup today. Passed with flying colors. I weighed 18 lbs 4.4 oz and measured 26 1/2 inches. Ears and lungs were clear. Dr. Cathy said that I should be sitting by myself any time now. She checked my legs for strength and said that standing and pulling up shouldn't be too far off either.

Look out, I can roll now. I have mastered the complete roll today. I rolled from the living room to toy room today before anyone could stop me. Nothing is safe anymore.

Man, do I ever have this rolling from my back to my belly down pat. I even do it in my sleep now. The only problem I have is that I need to cry to get turned back over. Haven't mastered the "belly to back" part yet. Well, at least Mommy, Daddy, and Kaylin can help me.

I surprised mommy and Mom Mom Justis by rolling over by myself today. I can roll from my back to my tummy if I get a rolling start. It takes me about 5 starts and then over I go.

I am now 4 months old and weigh 16 lbs. 12 oz. I am 25 1/4" tall. My mommy says that I am growing like a weed and eating her out of house and home. Peas and Applesauce is my favorite meal, and of course we can forget dessert - "FINGERS!!!". I got 3 shots at the doctor's today. Talk about hurting. I was so mad that I slept all the way home.

I went to the doctor today and got 3 shots - OUCH!! Daddy had to hold me down while that old mean nurse poked me in both legs. I weighed 13 pounds today.
