SPECIAL Service Opportunities
NAZARETH FARM
We have been assigned the week of July 30 to August 5th for our annual week at Nazareth Farm. Six spaces are available for teens and two for adult drivers/chaperones.
Teens must be 16 or have completed their 10th grade year by June 2000.
Information Meeting for teens and families will be Monday, Feb. 7th @ 7 p.m.
Applications will be due Feb. 22nd.
Youth in Action - Making our Voices Heard
A small group of teens met with Fr. Hart recently to talk about our Sunday liturgy and how teens could be more involved and some of the ideas they had. Their proposal was to take active leadership roles in a Sunday liturgy including music ministry.
Fr. Hart was very positive in his response and empowered them to get going in planning and preparing . To that degree we are looking for youth who would like to share their gifts and talents in any number of ministries from music to proclaiming the Word of God, ushering, serving, greeting……. We need instrumentalists, vocalists and those interested in helping. This is our chance to make our voices heard in song, prayer and praise. We are meeting on Sunday, Jan. 16th to pick music and start practicing. For more info call Brian @ 246-7747, Liz @ 524-1519 or Robin in the Youth Office.
