A few years ago, I had the pleasure of being picked by a lovely, thin and tired Dalmatian who was at most 3 years old.  Her thin body and quiet demeanor always made me wonder how she got to be so thin.  I named her Dominoes after much debate and finally she decided she liked Dominoes because she would come to it. Dominoes was a lovely Dalmatian who got fat fairly quickly and loved the kitties.

They would stand on her, pounce on her tail, eat her food, and watch her get baths.  They loved that as they thought it was great it wasn't them!!!

Then on May 18th, 2005 Dominoes got very sick which was not often at all.  She went to the Wonderful Vets I have and they tried feverously to save her. Dominoes passed away 6 long days later.  She was a brave soul and a few of my "kids" had problems with this.  One storey that will show how Dominoes was to my fur kids.  It was in The winter of 2005, when I got a lovely kitten from Dawna Roskelley.  Her transporters told me she was a cutie and such a sweetie so to my dismay the first night I got a little monster.  Her name is Kefira which means Lioness in Hebrew.  Kefira chased everyone off the bed except Dominoes who thought that was pretty cool.  After chasing the others off the bed, Kefira would stand on Dominoes like a triumphant hiker who just met its highest feat!!  This went on for over a 2 week period and then she would sleep with Dominoes who seemed more than willing to share her warm spot with a hero!!  Kefira had never been around dogs before and had instantly attached herself to this lovely dog.  Kefira misses Dominoes terribly as I do.  I love you Dominoes and WE miss you.....Rest in Peace.......
