1. DUES Members who have not paid their current dues for 1999 must do so to avoid suspension. You have already been billed twice. We have to pay State and Supreme Council per capita taxes twice a year, the dues we collect help pay for these. Remember you still have benefits as a Brother Knight even though you can not make the meetings or the socials. We understand that you have job obligations that sometimes may interfere with the Council activities and meetings. James will be sending out the dues for the coming year in a few months. Please when you get that envelope mail back your dues.
2. Pins and certificate awards not claimed at the Council's 20th Anniversary celebration can be picked up at the home at any regular meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Disabled members can make arrangements to have them delivered to them by Calling Don at 872-5580 or James at 868-7579. We both have answering machines if we are not home.
3. The Gumbo Fest will be December 12, 1999 at Herbert Hall.
4. The Council Christmas Party will be held on December 11, 1999 at the KC Home.

6. We had a good turnout for the Blood Center in August. However, we only got half of our quota. If you would like to give there is a place in Thibodaux and in Mathews where the Blood Centers are located. Another way you can give is when you go shopping and you see a Blood Center vehicle, go give for your Council. Tell the nurse when you give that our group number is D675.
John says that the boat fundraiser is doing great. Contact him if you need tickets to sell and if you can help in any way.
Look on the calendar for the all events including dates of our fundraiser games, we can always use extra help. All help is very much appreciated.
If you would like to rent the hall, contact Gerald Rivette at 223-1351 for all your party needs.
Our insurance agent to contact about your insurance needs is Adam Danos and he can be reached at 537-5108 in Raceland.
Please contact James Cherry or myself if you have a change of Address.
If you have anything you want to put in the newsletter, I must have all information by the 20th of the month, as that will be the cut off date. We need to do this to get your copy in time before the first of the month.
Please remember in your prayers our living and deceased brother knights and their families. Please remember Calvin Bodden and Winston Champagne. Also remember Frank Barrett and Raymond Chauvin who passed away in October.
