The RAPHAEL SONGE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP is awarded to (two) full-time students enrolled at any accredited university or college in the State of Louisiana. The amount of each scholarship is $750.00 to be applied to tuition and related expenses during each year, and paid directly to the university or college. On a two semester basis, two equal installments of $375.00 will be issued. On a tri-semester basis, three equal installments of $250.00 will be issued.
- (1) ELIGIBILITY:
- (a) Any adult member, in good standing, of the St. Bernadette Knights of Columbus or KayCee Ladies Auxiliary
- (b) Any high school senoir or graduate who is a child or
grandchild of one of the above members or deceased member.
- (2) QUALIFICATIONS:
- (a) Student (senior high) or members who have a grade point
average of 2.5 or better can apply. A copy of the high school
and/or college transcript must filed with each application.
- (b) Scholarships will be awarded on a yearly basis and are
issued for use in the Fall and/or Spring semster.
- (c) Scholarship are not transferable from one college or
university to another between semesters. Students changing from one college or university to another must wait one (1) semester before re-applying.
- (d) The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
NEED, CHARACTER,SCHOLARSHIP, and PURPOSE.
- (e) A recipient may re-apply for the following year(s).

- (b) Deadline: Applications must apply no less than 90 days prior to start of Fall or Spring Semester.
- (c) All applications become the property of St. Bernadette
Knights Of Columbus Council #7335 and KayCee Ladies Auxiliary and will be reviewed on a confidential basis by a special committee of their members who will make the final decision.

along with each request for an application.
