Colorado Camping

In late July 98', we took a trip to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison river and spent two nights and two days camping and hiking around the area. As with other hikes we'd been on, Siri took the lead on every trail. She tends to pull on the leash quite a bit, which is not so bad when you're going up hill. It's like having your own tow rope!

At the bottom of a tributary canyon to the Gunnison we stopped for a short break. Siri immediately jumped into the lake while we looked on with envy. She did try to share the refreshment with us by ensuring we got soaked with each shake when she came out of the water! And speaking of water, Siri showed off her retriever skills a few weeks later when we went to Wisconsin.
